What's happening at Krepling

Introduction

During the month of August our core focus, outside of development, has been on working closely with expanding Krepling's integration offerings. We are proud to announce that this month we are going to be partnering with one of the world's largest retail service marketplaces, AliExpress. The partnership will open AliExpress’ marketplace to Krepling’s smaller merchants, with the goal of enabling the early Krepling merchants to break into e-commerce with a fully automated inventory and shipping model. The partnership will greatly expand the reach and ability of Krepling merchants, allowing them access to AliExpress' 100 million products with the ability to list, sell and ship them directly on their Krepling store through a click of a button.

How does this partnership compare to the rest of the industry? Whilst most of our e-commerce 3.0 competitors are currently exploring direct API integrations with fulfillment-based microservices, and with its e-commerce 2.0 competitors like Shopify working with companies like Oberlo to bring about a similar offering, Krepling will be one of the first to have a direct partnership with one of the biggest names in the dropshipping/fulfillment space. We expect to make this announcement public in the coming weeks and begin rollout of the functionality sometime during the month of January 2023.

Revenue 🚀

Krepling is now at $19.7k in MRR, growing roughly 6-10% MoM.

Burn 🔥

Krepling spent $48,182 during the month of August. We had anticipated burn to rise during the month of August, with a downtick heading into the months of September and November. We expect burn to drop down to $35,0000 during September.

Runway 🛫

We estimate we have 6-10 months of runway given the current cash on hand.

Krepling currently has 9 team members (including both co-founders).

The current development status of V0.1.0 of the product (titled 'Core Release') is at 64%

Sprint 12: From 04/08 to 17/08

  • GOAL: 

  • Alert for variants that already exist

  • Ability to register to the store in public records

  • Revamped account sign-in

  • Ability to customize the general list for collections

  • Ability to customize the general list for tags

  • Ability to edit product highlights

  • Ability to edit, and see the promotion prices for product details

  • Ability to see the list of all buyers

  • View Buyer Account functionality

  • Edit Buyer Account functionality

  • Ability to add a new address to the buyer account

  • Ability to see the product highlights in the product details

Sprint 13: From 18/08 to 31/08

  • GOAL:

  • Edit Variants columns

  • Change for all stores to be created under the domain mykrepling.com

  • Store Communications Service

  • Ability to see all the attributes in the base product attribute section even if it does not have any value

  • Add/edit Media asset Manager to Product Type configuration

  • Add/edit the Product asset manager to the product details

  • Add/edit the asset manager component to the variants list

  • Show promotion price for variants

  • Remove value for attributes in variants table

  • Edit address in buyer account in store
